How to tell a genuine Rankmate email

• Every genuine email from us comes from an address ending @rankmate.com. Check the last few characters before you reply. Nothing else is us, however close it looks.
• Our only website is rankmate.com and our only client login is at clients.rankmate.com. Never enter your details on a lookalike domain.
• We take payment through Stripe checkout on rankmate.com, or by invoice from our registered company. We never ask for payment into a personal bank account, by cryptocurrency, or by gift card.
• Our published contact details are the phone number, email address and Kent address at the bottom of this page. If a message gives different details, it is not from us.
• If you are an existing client, our bank details do not change. Treat any email announcing new payment details as fake and check with us first using the details below.

If they have contacted you

• Do not reply, do not pay, and do not send any documents or account access.
• If you have already paid, contact your bank or card provider straight away and tell them the payment was obtained by fraud.
• Keep the emails. The full message, including the headers, is what an investigator needs.
• Report it to Action Fraud on 0300 123 2040 or at actionfraud.police.uk. In Scotland, report to Police Scotland on 101.
